Here at Touristik-Gemeinschaft Baden-Elsass-Pfalz e.V. (hereinafter referred to as “we/our”), we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We strictly follow all applicable data protection laws and regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG). The following information outlines the data protection measures we have in place and what types of data we process for which purpose.

Every time someone visits our website or accesses a file, general data relating to this action is automatically saved in a log file. This data is stored solely for system-related and statistical purposes (on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) as well as for the purposes of reporting offences in exceptional cases (on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) of the GDPR).

 Data is not forwarded to third parties or otherwise analysed, unless required by law (Art 6(1)(e) of the GDPR).

4. Use of the analytics tool "GoogleAnalytics"

On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offer in the sense of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. of the German Civil Code), we act in accordance with the following principles DSGVO) Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC ("Google"). This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

The IP address transmitted by the user's browser is not merged with other Google data.
